Kickboxing involves stamina training, skipping, bag work, pad work and lots of aerobic conditioning for heart and lungs.
You can do this just for fun and get very fit at the same time if karate is too disciplined for you but you still want to learn to defend yourself and enjoy getting fit then we recommend trying these lessons.
Here are some answers to some peoples questions
Do I have to be fit?........................................................no this will make you fitter regardless of present physical condition
Do I have to spar or fight other people?...................no you do not ever have to do any sparring but you can take part if you wish to once you have reached the appropriate skill level.
Can only men take part?..............................................no classes are mixed and we have both male and female students currently about 60% female 40% male
Can I take gradings or belts if I want ?.......................yes you can grade up to black belt which can take a approx 3-4 yrs if you want to.
